Hi guys. A couple of things this morning. First, I have the importing fixed to my satisfaction now. I’ve basically changed blueprint to scale everything to fit inside of a 1x1x1 cube. You can resize it from there if it’s a couch or something that takes up more than one tile. I’ve tried out all the 3DS files I have and everything comes in without too much intervention on your part to get it to work. I also have the lighting and those problems fixed so everything looks correct now. You can also add and edit materials and textures on a group by group basis. This is of course going to facilitate a new release, not just an update to the importer. I’ll see about getting that out as soon as I can.

For those SimsTransmogrifier fans, Don Hopkins has released version 1.3 of the program. You can grab it from the TMog page here. BTW, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Don. He’s helped me this past year working on blueprint and without his insight and talent, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today (wherever that is). So thanks to Don and rest of the Maxis staff for all their help!

Below is the menu editor I’ve added. It allows you to edit existing entries for objects so menu names and some flags that are associated with the entries can be altered. I’m just going though the process of finding out what I can or cannot allow you to edit (I am bound by a greater power than my conscience on some things) so some options may change. See ya!
