Hi guys. Not much to report tonight. I’ve been working on blue today, getting it ready for the final tests and release.

One thing I do want to point out, as assinine as it may sound, please read the instructions for the programs. Most of the little tools (ObjectEditor, MenuEditor, etc.) have quirks about what they expect for input or how to load up files. I’ve been getting goobers of emails lately with people asking me why this doesn’t work or that doesn’t work when it all boils down to just following instructions. Trust me, I’m the last one to read a manual. I even plunge into new programming languages without reading any books. I figure if I can’t figure out a piece of software in the first few minutes then either I’m doing something horribly wrong or the creators of said software have no idea what the words “User Friendly” means. Basically if you’re stuck, please actually read that gibberish I write about how to use the program.

If you’ve followed the instructions correctly, one of two things will happen. First, it could work and you’re done. No emails to me. No screaming in the forums. Life is good. Secondly, it could crash. There is some weirdness with some IFF files as not everyone of them are perfect and my code certainly isn’t. If you get a crash then check the forums as most answers are already there. If you still can’t find a solution then feel free to email/ICQ/MSN/etc. me but please remember that I might not respond in a timely fashion. I’m still on the backup list for Lords of the Dance so they may call at any time…
