Hi guys,

Been a few days since we had any word here so I thought I would jolt in and let you know what’s happening. I’m working with Abacus now on the final release. They have to give it a once over, the technical guys have to get used to the program and understand how it works (they provide support for it) and we have to work out the details of the final content of the CD. So all that is wrapping up early next week. They’ll be spending some time getting the CDs burnt and all the packaging done but once we finalize on the program, I’ll put the trial version up on the site here. I’ll also get to the free version and get that put together as soon as I can. Basically I was doing dual development at the start, but it was a bear to deal with so I just concentrated on the Pro version for the last few weeks and will just fold back the bug fixes and such into the free version. It’ll be available sometime later this month (not sure about my schedule right now).

I picked up a copy of Unleashed a few weeks ago so everything is working well with it. No problems so far. When I find some time to breath, I’ll get updates to all the other free software uploaded to handle Unleashed and Sims Deluxe. Also, as pathetic as my timelines are I will NOT be doing tutorials for the old blueprint. All my effort is going into writing the new tutorials, so they’ll be going up on the site as soon as I get the free version completed and uploaded. Thanks for the feedback. Back later!

No, I’m not leaving the Sims community. Heaven forbid. The final wrapup on blueprintPro is coming down the pipe so I’ve been locked up in front of my PC for as many hours as I can to get the final touches done, help files written (they’re always left to last eh?) and the content for the CD completed. Things are running into the first week of October here but everything should be delivered this week. Once I finalize on the trial software (which I’m working on at the moment) then I’ll be putting the trial version up on this site. The free version will follow in a week to two weeks as I have gotten feature crazy with bpPro so I have to spend some time just backing things out for that version. Don’t worry, the free version, as promised, will be hopefully a great tool. I’m hoping to gather up some constructive feedback in the first few weeks of it’s release, as well as whatever you might have to say about the Pro version. This will keep things very much active and growing as we continue to add more features to both versions of the software. And on top of that, when I have a minute or two to breath, I’ll be releasing the smaller utilities that are very much long overdue (ahh, if only I could Transmogrify myself a few dozen times to keep up with my own thought processes). If I grow quiet for more than a few days you’ll know why. Feel free to nudge wherever necessary and keep the forums (you remember those don’t you?) brewing. Seeya!

Just a quick update as I don’t have a lot of time to doddle here. I’m finishing up the blueprintPro stuff. Trust me, this stuff if awesome and I’m very proud of it. There’s a lot that will be available but also a lot more in the pro version. I haven’t figured out the trial versions yet but have got ahold of a few application protection programs that will allow me to release a 30 day trial version of blueprintPro with all the features. I just have to put that together once the final signoff for the program is done. Also I haven’t had time to update/complete the feature matrix yet as I’ve been working all weekend (and through this week) on completing everything (program, manuals, tutorials, packaging, install, etc.). Whew. It’s crunch time but it’s coming together. Anyways, gotta run to get things completed here at blue central. Tom is just as busy and I believe will have a similar feature matrix for CCPro online soon. Seeya!
